ROMA, 25 GIU - Residents are waiting on the street out of fear of possible aftershocks following the twin 7.2 and 7.5-magnitude earthquakes that struck the country, in Catia la Mar, Venezuela, 25 June 2026.
At least 32 people were killed and 700 were injured after two back-to-back earthquakes hit north-central Venezuela in rapid succession, triggering the collapse of buildings, cracking facades, and prompting a national state of emergency, according to Venezuela's acting President Delcy Rodriguez. (ANSA).
