A civic accountability organisation, Tracka, has called on the Nasarawa State Government and relevant education authorities to urgently intervene in the poor state of infrastructure at Government Junior Secondary School, Koroduma, in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

In a statement shared on Thursday, June 25, 2026, Tracka described the learning environment at the school as deplorable, noting that classrooms are "without flooring, doors, windows, ceiling," while also having "a leaking roof and broken walls."

According to the group, more than 225 students are enrolled in the school and are forced to endure the harsh conditions daily.

The organisation further lamented the lack of basic teaching and learning facilities in the school.

"Apart from the obvious dilapidated structure, there's no learning materials to learn with. No textbooks, no laboratory or laboratory equipment, not enough teachers to even teach them," the statement said.
