Police at the scene at a petrol station on the corner of 4th Avenue and Prince George Drive in Grassy Park, where the incident is under investigation.
A newborn baby girl has been found dead in a bin at a petrol station in Grassy Park on Wednesday morning.
According to provincial police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk, Grassy Park police were called out after a complaint was received about a baby found at the site on the corner of Prince George Road and 4th Avenue.
Police arrived at around 8.30am and were shown the body of a newborn baby girl inside a black dirt bin at the petrol station.
Van Wyk reported: “The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.”
