Two passengers from Belarus were arrested on Monday for unruly behavior during a flight from Warsaw to Hania and for attacking a police officer.
The two women, aged 45 and 47, started shouting and smoking on board the aircraft, which is strictly prohibited, and refused to cooperate with the crew.
When the plane landed at Hania’s international airport they were arrested and one of them kicked the police officer who handcuffed her, causing him a leg fracture.
The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
