Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for sexually harassing a 26-year-old woman on a pedestrian underpass of Syngrou Avenue in Athens.
According to the complaint filed by the victim, the man started following her as soon as she left the Panteion University on Monday afternoon and then assaulted her when they reached the underpass.
The woman managed to escape and notified the Police, providing a description of the perpetrator that led to his arrest.
Police has filed a case against the man for insulting sexual dignity and illegal entry into the country.
