While many young entrepreneurs struggle to grow their businesses alone, Kayamandi fashion designer Luxolo Cakata is determined to turn challenges into opportunities as he works to expand his clothing business and create jobs for other young people.

The 29-year-old operates LC Style Clothing from the Corridor business hub in Kayamandi, where he manages every aspect of the business himself, from sourcing materials and attending training programmes to overseeing production and fulfilling customer orders.

Working alone has been one of the biggest challenges he has faced.

“Since I'm working alone, when I have like 10 or 11 orders and I need to go to suppliers or attend events, production stops,” he said. “The business can't function when I'm not there.”
