A large fire broke out on Tuesday morning at a plastics and paper factory in Egaleo, western Athens.
The Fire Department said it has sent 35 firefighters with 10 vehicles and a boom truck to Orpheus Street where the factory is located.
Local authorities have sent water tanks while efforts are supported by volunteers.
