Eighteen-year-old canoe slalom athlete, Hannah Trower, is preparing to represent South Africa at the Junior and Under-23 Canoe Slalom World Championships in Poland.
Hannah, a Grade 12 learner at The Wykeham Collegiate, is balancing the demands of school, training, and international competition.
The young paddler will compete in both the Kayak Slalom and Kayak Cross events at this year’s championships taking place from June 30 to July 5, in Krakow, Poland.
The ICF World Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships are an annual international canoeing and kayaking event organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF).
