The occupation authorities have failed to resolve the staffing crisis in the education sector in the temporarily occupied areas of the Luhansk region, as teachers from Russia are reluctant to relocate to the so-called “new territories.”
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
"Despite receiving state support, the occupiers have been unable to eliminate the staffing crisis in the education sector. Teachers who left have not returned to occupied Luhansk region. Among those who remained, some have grown tired of working according to Russian teaching guidelines," Kharchenko wrote.
According to him, vacancies are open in nearly every school.
Kharchenko added that efforts to recruit teachers from Russian regions are close to failure. So far, only three teachers have agreed to relocate before the start of the new school year in exchange for financial incentives.
