Police officers in Kharkiv detained a man for a brazen attack on several people that left three victims injured.
According to Ukrinform, the information was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Police on Telegram.
"The incident occurred on June 20 at approximately 5:30 p.m. in the Kholodnohirskyi district. As of 21:45, three victims have been identified," the statement said.
According to police, a 22-year-old native of Cherkasy broke into a retail kiosk and used a shard of a broken bottle to inflict stab wounds on a man. He then punched the female vendor in the head.
While fleeing the scene, the attacker also kicked an elderly woman in the face as she was passing by.
