Police in the Kharkiv region have notified four men aged 29 to 36 of suspicion over an attack on servicemen from a Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center and acts of hooliganism in the town of Sakhnovshchyna on May 26.
The Kharkiv regional police said on Facebook that the incident occurred when a notification team from a district recruitment center arrived in the settlement to carry out official duties.
"Immediately after their arrival, a conflict arose between the servicemen and a group of local residents. The men made threats and later attacked representatives of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, causing them bodily injuries," the statement said.
According to preliminary investigators' findings, one of the suspects used a metal telescopic baton to damage a service vehicle and strike the victims.
