A 46-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a late-night crash on a major roadway in western Athens.
According to preliminary information, the rider lost control of his motorcycle under circumstances that remain unclear, veered off course, and struck the metal safety barriers along Kifissou Avenue in the Egaleo area.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, but the man had already succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fatal accident.
