Early season matches include Stephen Robinson's debut as Aberdeen manager against Hearts on 1 August at Pittodrie, and newly promoted St Johnstone welcoming Kilmarnock back to the top flight. Significant derby clashes are scheduled, with the first Dundee derby taking place on 22 August at Tannadice, and the initial Edinburgh derby set for 2 September at Easter Road.
