Sunderland will begin their second season back in the Premier League away to newly-promoted Ipswich Town.Sunderland finished seventh in the 2025-26 campaign, their first top flight season for nine years, securing a Europa League spot with a 2-1 win over Chelsea on the final day.Regis Le Bris’ side will visit Newcastle United in the first Tyne-Wear derby of the 2026-27 season on the weekend of December 5-6, with the reverse fixture at the Stadium of Light on the weekend of May 1-2.
