Loose forward Manu Tshituka is ready to take his first step towards Springbok selection when he runs out for the SA 'A' side on Saturday against Zimbabwe in Gqeberha.

Eighteen months ago, Emmanuel Tshituka and his brother Vincent could only wait patiently for their dream of playing for the Springboks to be realised.

A year ago, Vincent — now captain of the South African ‘A’ side for Saturday’s encounter against Zimbabwe — made his breakthrough in a friendly against the Barbarians before going on to make his Springbok debut.

Now, Emmanuel is set to take the first step towards realising his own dream by featuring on the side of the scrum for the Mzwandile Stick-coached SA ‘A’ team in the curtain-raiser at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday afternoon (12pm kick-off).

More affectionately known as Manu, the younger Tshituka brother is looking forward to his first taste of rugby at this level, especially with his older brother leading the side.
