Traffic restrictions will be imposed next Tuesday, June 23, in central Athens and the nearby suburb of Kallithea due to road races held as part of the SNF Nostos Run 2026.
The event includes 10-kilometer and 6-kilometer races, as well as a 1,000-meter Special Olympics run.
Parking and stopping bans will take effect at 6 a.m. Tuesday on major roads in central Athens, while rolling road closures will begin at 8:30 p.m. and continue until the end of the event.
Affected routes include key avenues such as Vasilissis Konstantinou, Vasilissis Sofias, Syngrou Avenue, Vasilissis Amalias and areas around Syntagma Square, as well as multiple connecting streets in central and southern Athens.
