According to information obtained by IranWire, 36-year-old Mehri Farajzadeh, a resident of Karaj and mother of two, was shot and killed on Friday, January 9, in Fardis, Karaj.

Informed sources stated that the bullet struck her skull, causing her to die before she could be transported to Behafarin Hospital in Fardis. According to her relatives, after two days of persistent efforts, they managed to retrieve her body from Behesht-e Sakineh Cemetery in Karaj on January 11.
