Faezeh Afshari, 22, was searching for her mother’s cancer medication in Baharestan, Isfahan, on March 1 when she was targeted by direct gunfire from the Islamic Republic’s repressive agents and killed.

According to information obtained by IranWire, Faezeh Afshari, a native of Semirom, was looking for her mother’s cancer treatment drugs in Baharestan, Isfahan, when security forces attacked demonstrators gathered in the streets of the area.

She and her brother came under attack by the agents, and one of the officers targeted Faezeh, shooting her in the temple from close range.

According to a relative of Faezeh’s family, a number of residents in Baharestan, Isfahan, had taken to the streets following the attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States and the death of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic. It was during this time that security forces moved in to disperse them.

The source explained to IranWire that Faezeh and her brother got into a passing vehicle to distance themselves from the crowd. However, at that moment, an agent shattered the car window with a weapon and fired directly into Faezeh’s temple from close range.
