During the Covid-19 lockdowns, author and filmmaker Robbie Naidoo took a decisive plunge into this historically significant movement, launching an ambitious project to uncover the full tale behind the uprising.
While researching his forthcoming book, Untermensch, Naidoo found himself embroiled in a labyrinth of disorganised information.
He said varied sources, from online articles to documentaries and academic texts, often failed to present a cohesive narrative about the Soweto events.
