Democrats are expected to hold this Bay Area seat that’s been vacant since former Rep. Eric Swalwell resigned in April, but if no candidate wins a majority, the top two will face off in an August runoff. Many of these candidates also ran in the primary for a full term under the district’s new but very similar borders. State Sen. Aisha Wahab finished far ahead of the pack, but well under 50%.
