TAGBILARAN CITY — The Cebu Provincial Board has approved a total of P25 million in financial assistance for four Mindanao provinces devastated by the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck off Sarangani on June 8.
During its session on Monday, the provincial board unanimously passed four resolutions authorizing Cebu Governor Pam Baricuatro to release P10 million to Sarangani province and P5 million each to Davao del Sur, Davao Occidental, and South Cotabato.
The resolutions were authored by Provincial Board Member Red Duterte and approved en masse during a session presided over by Provincial Board Member Stanley Caminero.
