TAGBILARAN CITY — The 17th Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cebu has approved a resolution authorizing the release of P10 million in financial assistance to General Santos City following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao on June 8.

The resolution, authored by Provincial Board Member Red Duterte, was certified as urgent by Governor Pam Baricuatro, who sought its immediate passage to enable the provincial government to extend humanitarian aid to the quake-hit city.
