Former Bafana Bafana star Siphiwe Tshabalala has taught Brazilian legend Ronaldo his iconic celebratory dance.
Tshabalala became an instant national hero and global phenomenon when he struck a brilliant left-footed goal against Mexico to open the Fifa 2010 World Cup on home soil at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.
The celebration that followed, when “Shabba” and his Bafana teammates ran towards the touchline and performed an impromptu synchronized dance, has since become almost more famous than the goal itself.
It features the players running to the corner flag, forming a neat line, and doing a perfectly coordinated, joyful shuffle.
