How the series unfolded

The best-of-five was played on League of Legends patch 26.11, and it went the full distance. T1 and Gen.G traded blows across all five games, with neither team willing to concede momentum for long.

T1 arrived in the lower bracket after falling to Hanwha Life Esports 3-1 in an earlier round. HLE had already locked in the LCK’s first seed with that victory, leaving T1 to navigate the longer path to MSI qualification.
