Two of Korean League of Legends’ most dominant rosters will collide on June 12 in a best-of-five that carries the kind of weight usually reserved for grand finals. T1 and Hanwha Life Esports meet at the Wonju DB Promy Arena for the LCK Road to MSI qualifier, with the winner punching their ticket as Korea’s top seed at MSI 2026.
The series kicks off at 10:00 CET (08:00 UTC), and for fans of competitive League of Legends, this is appointment viewing. A previous LCK match between these organizations pulled in more than 1.2 million peak concurrent viewers.
What’s actually at stake
The LCK Road to MSI bracket featured six teams: HLE, T1, Gen.G, KT Rolster, Dplus KIA, and BRION. Only T1 and HLE survived long enough to reach the final qualifier match.
HLE earned their position the old-fashioned way, finishing the regular season in first place. T1 came in second. The winner secures the LCK’s number one seed, which typically comes with favorable group placements and scheduling advantages at the international tournament.
