The NDLEA confirmed the operations in a statement issued by its Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, at its headquarters in Abuja on Sunday.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested two persons living with disability, alongside several other suspects, in separate drug trafficking operations across Abia, Rivers, Kano, Kwara, Taraba, the Federal Capital Territory and Lagos State.

The NDLEA confirmed the operations in a statement issued by its Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, at its headquarters in Abuja on Sunday.

In Abia State, a 60‑year‑old woman living with a disability, Chidimma Sunday, was arrested by a vigilante group in Umuosu, Umuna Autonomous Community, Isialangwa North Local Government Area, after being found with 1.8kg of skunk.

She was subsequently handed over to the NDLEA on Wednesday, June 10.
