The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested four female drug traffickers across Edo, Imo, Kano, and Gombe states in a coordinated nationwide crackdown on illicit drug networks.
The agency said the arrests were part of ongoing operations targeting drug hotspots and trafficking routes across the country, according to a statement from Femi Babafemi, NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, on Sunday.
In Imo State, NDLEA operatives raided a drug enclave at Umulolo, Orlu, and arrested “a notorious female dealer, 32-year-old Chioma Okeke, and the recovery of 8 kilograms of skunk”.
In Edo State, three female suspects were apprehended during a sweep of drug hotspots in Benin City.
