Russian troops in the south are changing their logistics routes and supply chains: They plan to transport ammunition in civilian passenger cars with trailers and personnel in small groups along secondary roads.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, announced on television.
“Regarding ammunition, according to intelligence reports, the enemy is considering the option to keep ammunition depots more than 200 km away from the front line. Then there would be several smaller field depots, with ammunition and missile stocks sufficient for no more than two days. All transportation will be carried out, for example, by civilian transport, passenger cars with trailers. “And the personnel involved in these transports must not be in uniform; they must be in civilian clothing or in the uniforms of utility service workers,” Voloshyn noted.
For the supply of fuel and lubricants, the occupiers are considering water transport. In particular, they plan to bring small sea tankers, roadstead tankers, and barges to the ports of Berdiansk and Skadovsk, the spokesperson said.
