Ukrainian strikes on enemy logistics routes and ammunition depots have led to restrictions on the use of artillery ammunition.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on air by Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces.
“We are trying to strike their logistics routes and ammunition depots, and this has led to the command of some Russian units, particularly the 36th Army, imposing limits on the use of artillery ammunition. Whereas previously the enemy would concentrate fire on a specific section of the front and continue until the entire position was destroyed, such instances have now decreased,” he said.
According to Voloshyn, due to a shortage of artillery ammunition, the enemy is reducing the use of weapons located closer to the line of contact. At the same time, however, the enemy is replacing artillery with airstrikes, using guided aerial bombs and missile strikes against Ukrainian military positions, as well as cities and villages.
