A 26-year-old man was killed, and two other people were targeted in a shooting at a pharmacy in Qumbu, Eastern Cape, prompting a murder and attempted murder investigation by police.
According to police, the shooting took place at a pharmacy in the Sejoseng Business Centre on Saturday, June 13.
Officers were called to the scene at about 11.20 am following reports of an active shooting at the premises.
When police arrived, they found the 26-year-old man dead behind the pharmacy counter. Two other people survived the attack.
One sustained injuries to the lower body and was taken to a medical facility for treatment, while the other was not physically injured.
