Inspector General of Police (IGP), Eluru Range, G.V.G. Ashok Kumar urged police personnel to use artificial intelligence (AI) in probing critical and white-collar offences. He directed them to use AI tools in their routine works, court cases and in documentation to improve work efficiency.Participating in the capacity building workshop on use of AI and latest technology in policing here on Saturday, Mr. Ashok Kumar said AI will help police in multiple aspects and also save time.Police officers from Eluru, Kakinada, Konaseema, West and East Godavari districts who attended the one-day workshop were taught how to utilise emerging technologies in AI.Meanwhile, Eluru SP K. Pratap Shiva Kishore explained the features of Digital Holistic AI Driven Response Management Assistant (DHARMA) app, an AI-powered platform developed by Eluru police.Police officers from IT Core Teams, Cybercrime, Law and Order and other wings also participated.
