Minutes after returning home, a South Oropouche man was shot and killed on Thursday night.Dillon Bunsee, 32, was shot in the head and neck and died at the hospital.Police said Bunsee was in the garage of his home when the gunman confronted him shortly after 11 p.m.The gunman then ran off and escaped.

Police officers responded placed Dillon in the tray of a police pick up truck.As he lay there bleeding, his mother reached out to touch his bloodied, bulging head, crying "Dillon, mammy talking to you" as a woman pleaded with police "carry him to the hospital now nah, please."Bunsee was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he died while being treated.
