South Coast Railway (SCoR) General Manager Sandeep Mathur conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Vijayawada–Gudur–Renigunta section to review infrastructure development, safety systems, operational efficiency and passenger amenities across key stations in the Vijayawada and Guntakal Divisions.Mr. Mathur carried out a window trailing inspection of the ongoing third-line works between Krishna Canal Junction and Peddavadlapudi Junction, reviewing the progress and quality of execution.At Tenali railway station, he inspected the ticketing area, waiting halls, circulating and parking areas, besides assessing development works aimed at enhancing passenger convenience. At Bapatla, he examined the relay room and reviewed passenger amenities, safety systems and station operations.The General Manager also inspected yard points and crossings, crossovers, signalling assets and other safety-related infrastructure at Chirala, focusing on operational reliability and compliance with safety standards.At Ongole railway station, he reviewed passenger amenities, cleanliness and ongoing development works. During his visit to Bitragunta, he inspected the crew lobby and assessed crew management systems, welfare facilities, safety practices and operational procedures.Mr. Mathur later inspected passenger amenities and station facilities at Srikalahasti before undertaking a window trailing inspection of the Gudur–Renigunta section. He also reviewed the progress of the ongoing yard remodelling works at Renigunta.Senior South Coast Railway officials, including Principal Chief Engineer B.S.K.
