General Manager of South Coast Railway (SCoR), Sandeep Mathur, conducted a high-level review of the zone’s safety preparedness and security protocols on Tuesday.The meeting, attended by Principal Heads of Departments and Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) from all four divisions in the State, underscored the railway’s commitment to maintaining operational safety standards.The review primarily focused on bolstering security measures for passengers, both at railway stations and during transit.Emphasising a “safety-first” culture, Mr. Mathur directed officials to ensure strict adherence to established safety procedures and proactive risk assessment protocols.Beyond safety, the discussion encompassed an assessment of current train operations and punctuality performance.
