It was a proud moment for Itu-o-Tane principal, Sale Faletolu, as all nine entrants to the Samoa Observer Short Story competition ended up with prizes.
This was the most prizes won by any school in the competition.
Itu-o-Tane College is situated in Vaipouli Savai’i. For Faletolu, the prizes show that any school with the right mindset and goal canm achieve academic excellence.
“As always, I am super proud, I am super proud of them because it reflects my leadership,” said Faletolu.
Faletolu stated in an interview with Samoa Observer that, in preparation for the competition, he worked very hard to push his students to do their best and complete their entries.
