Cartrack SA CEO Joshua Victor has spoken out regarding the death of employee Gcina Dhladhla, who was found dead in a toilet cubicle at the company's Rosebank offices on Saturday.

Victor said in a joint statement released with the family on Thursday that both parties are united in wanting the facts to be fully established to determine what happened.

Victor stated that the company is working with investigators and Dhladhla's family to determine the facts surrounding the incident. The 29-year-old's death has caused widespread shock across the country, leading to growing calls for accountability.

This comes after the ANCYL in Gauteng led a protest on Thursday calling on the company to take accountability for Dhladhla’s death.
