The founder and the president of Sivananda World Peace Foundation, Ishwar Ramlutchman, fondly known as Prince Mabheka in the Zulu kingdom, has paid tribute to the fallen Ndebele king Mabhena II.
The king’s death on Tuesday drew condolences and tributes from different spheres of life. In his statement, Ramlutchman said he received the news with profound sadness and deep sorrow.
“On behalf of the Sivananda World Peace Foundation and all those who hold traditional leadership, cultural heritage, and African unity close to their hearts, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, Her Majesty, Queen Sekothali Mabhena, traditional leaders, the people of the Kingdom, and all those mourning this immense loss,” said Ramlutchman.
He described King Mabhena II as a respected custodian of culture, tradition, and the values that unite the people. He stated that the king’s leadership, wisdom, and commitment to preserving the heritage of his people will be remembered for generations to come.
