Eleven suspects were arrested during a police operation in Aspropyrgos, west of Athens, on Tuesday, authorities said.
Police said in a statement that they dismantled 4,420 meters of cables used for electricity theft during the operation. Officers also identified two cases of illegal connections to the municipal water supply network.
Criminal charges were filed against the 11 individuals on charges including electricity theft and violations of the Highway Code. One of those arrested was already wanted by authorities, police said.
In addition, officers recorded 30 traffic violations, including driving without a license and failure to wear seat belts and helmets. Authorities also confiscated five vehicle registration certificates and seven driving licenses.
The case file has been submitted to the prosecuting authority, police added.
