CHAOS: Medical services at the school

THERE was chaos at a school in Nyanga on Monday when learners were rushed to hospital after allegedly eating biscuits bought from a local community vendor.

Police, emergency medical services and panicked parents rushed to Sikelela Primary School in Crossroads, following reports that a child was ill.

Authorities confirmed that five children had to be hospitalised and several others were sent home.

It is claimed that they bought biscuits outside the school, with learners then complaining about their health and vomiting, which prompted the school to call in medical services to attend to them.
