A man was found dead in front of the district court building on the Hassan-Holenarasipur Road in Hassan city, in Karnataka, in the early hours of June 8.Based on identity documents recovered from the site, police identified the deceased as Manjesh Kumar, 45, a resident of Anjanapura in Bengaluru. He is a native of Hassan.According to police records, Manjesh Kumar had faced criminal charges in multiple cases registered under the Arms Act and the SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act at Talaghattapura Police Station in Bengaluru.Police on night patrol discovered the body around 2 a.m. The body was shifted for a post-mortem examination.
