One person has been found dead, and two others remain missing after three men got into the waters of Hemavathi Reservoir at Shettihalli in Hassan taluk on Sunday.The missing are Milan, 23, and Charan, 20, both residents of Girinagar in Bengaluru. Manikantha, 23, also from Girinagar, was found dead. The three were part of a group touring Dharmasthala in Dakshina Kannada and had stopped at Shettihalli for swimming.Shettihalli is known for its Holy Rosary Church, constructed in the 1860s. The church remains submerged during the monsoon season as water levels in the reservoir rise, but becomes visible during summer when it attracts tourists.Goruru Police have initiated search and rescue operations with assistance from the Fire and Emergency Services.
