A rowdy-sheeter was chased and brutally hacked to death by an unidentified group near Janata Colony in Sulibele village on the outskirts of Bengaluru late on Saturday (June 6, 2026) night.The deceased has been identified as Kalimullakhan (36), a resident of Sulibele village and a known history-sheeter.According to police, Kalim was allegedly speaking on his mobile phone when a group of unidentified armed men confronted him. Kalim, sensing trouble, tried to escape, but the accused chased and attacked him with deadly weapons. He sustained multiple grievous injuries and died on the spot.Preliminary investigation indicates that the attackers inflicted more than 20 cut injuries on the victim before fleeing the scene.On receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the spot, conducted an inspection and shifted the body for post-mortem examination.The police are analysing footage from CCTV cameras in the area, to identify the assailants.A case has been registered at the local police station, and an investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the assailants.
