The odour prompted them to inspect the cooker more closely.Upon opening it, police reportedly discovered a packet containing ganja hidden among the rice. The concealment plan, which was intended to mislead investigators, instead drew attention because of the smell released during cooking.Ganja Seized, Accused ArrestedFollowing the discovery, police seized the ganja and arrested the suspect. According to police, the plants were arranged in flower pots and trays and were being carefully maintained indoors with proper sunlight, water and fertilisers.The accused, identified as Vishal, is a native of Haryana and had been working at an IT company in Technopark for about a year. The raid was carried out under the framework of Operation Toofan, a state-wide anti-narcotics initiative.
