LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — The Ilocos Police Regional Office (PRO 1) will deploy 1,822 police officers, 315 Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) officers, and 3,211 force multipliers to public and private schools across the Ilocos Region to help ensure a safe and orderly opening of classes on June 16.
PRO 1 data showed that Police Assistance Desks (PADs) have been established in all public schools throughout the region.
“While all schools have PADs, we are closely monitoring the larger campuses,” said Capt. Aileen Parayno Catugas, chief of the Pangasinan Police Information Office.
