COTABATO CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested an alleged member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and his companion during a buy-bust operation in Maasim, Sarangani, on Saturday, seizing at least P1 million worth of suspected shabu from them.
In a statement released Sunday, Charlene Magdurulang, director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 12 (PDEA-12), identified the suspects only by their aliases—“Ebrahim,” 43, who was allegedly an MILF member based on his identification card, and “Akmad,” 46, a tricycle driver.
Both are residents of Barangay Muti in Guindulungan, Maguindanao del Sur.
