CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Authorities seized around P4.9 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested an alleged “high-value individual” during a coordinated anti-illegal drug operation in Roxas town, Oriental Mindoro, early morning on Thursday, police said in a report.
Police said the arrested suspect is a 27-year-old man; another individual evaded arrest and remains at large.

The operation was conducted in Barangay San Mariano by members of the Roxas Municipal Police Station’s Municipal Drug Enforcement Team led by Police Major Aries-Joi M. Adorio, in coordination with the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Oriental Mindoro, Regional Intelligence Unit, 3rd Platoon of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the Mimaropa region.
