CALASIAO, PANGASINAN, Philippines — Two suspected drug peddlers were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Pangasinan, where authorities seized more than 156 grams of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth about P1.06 million.
The Police Regional Office 1 (PRO-1) said a buy-bust operation conducted in Pozorrubio on Wednesday, Aug. 5, led to the arrest of a resident of Laoac town tagged as a street-level individual.
Seized from the suspect were about 92 grams of suspected shabu valued at P625,600. The illegal drugs were contained in a knot-tied plastic bag and three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets.
