POTOTAN, Iloilo — Police seized more than P1 million worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) and arrested a high-value drug suspect during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cato-ogan here on Saturday, June 6.
The suspect, identified only by his alias “Ian,” 28, was arrested by operatives of the Pototan Municipal Police Station at 12:15 p.m. following months of intelligence monitoring.
Authorities recovered seven heat-sealed plastic sachets containing about 150 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1.02 million based on the standard drug price set by law enforcement agencies.
Police also confiscated the marked buy-bust money and several non-drug items allegedly used in the illegal transaction.
