ILOILO CITY — A high-value drug suspect was arrested and around P1.4 million worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) was seized in a buy-bust operation in Dingle, Iloilo on Friday, May 22.
The operation was conducted along Devera Street in Barangay Poblacion following weeks of intelligence monitoring and case build-up by operatives of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6).
Authorities identified the suspect only by his alias “Makoy,” a 46-year-old resident of the barangay who was tagged as a known drug personality allegedly operating in Dingle and nearby municipalities.
