ILOILO CITY — Authorities seized more than P3.6 million worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) and arrested two individuals during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion Zone 1 on Monday evening, police said.
The anti-illegal drugs operation, conducted at 6:25 p.m., resulted in the confiscation of approximately 540 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P3,672,000, according to the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6). Buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence were also recovered from the suspects.
Arrested were two residents identified only by their aliases “Jojie,” 43, and “Jess,” 38, both married.
